http://www.overclockershideout.com/M...tegory_Code=WB

Remember when Fixittt "fixed" the Z4 aqua crap?

Well, looks like CPUfx wasn't that offended, they COPPIED HIS DESIGN!!! What will these jackasses do next.

dont worry fixittt, we still wub jo0 lol

i read somewhere that imitation is the highest form of flatery...

but, thats hardly an original design to begin with. if i were going to make a block, thats exactly how it would look (or id do 2 parrallel channels instead of one wide one to increase surface area. fixittt, you should try that. i'll draw it up so u can see what i mean ;p )

ok, here we go. click to see the block id make if i could make one.

BAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Looks like they read my thread!!! Damn I am actually impressed they made a new bottom!!! I am suprized they didn't make it Copper though. They did damn near copy fixittts exept for all the roughness.

At least they are making an attemp at making it right!!!

That also looks very similiar to my original design.

I could do it if I had a way to silver plate copper, but I do not. My guess is it will do half way decent though. The design I posted a pic of above worked real well for me. It has larger channels at 1/2" wide and 3/8" deep and are longer though.

Yeah, they will make it out like they are the inovative ones and not give us any credit. Well that happens to me at work everyday so I am used to it.

At least i feel my thread was worthy of all the posts and views!!

For the record. I stole nothing. The design is my own. After completing my prototype and posting some pictures I was notified about Fxiitt's design. Our two approaches are vastly different! They look similar but they are much different. From the size of the block itself to the water channel to the screws used to secure the top.

Take a look at my website and tell me if the design is original or not. I have a notebook full of thermal calculations with several of the pages dated incase you really need the proof...

I hope you don't hold any animosity toward myself or Gemini, because it is not deserved.

Peter.

While we have your attention...what is the black crap you seal with???

My Z3 has (...had) it too. There was more in the channels than there was forming the seal. I had one channel 1/4 closed by a ridge of it. I ran it for almost a year like that, (unknowingly) before I opened it up to inspect it. RTV seals it now.

heavy, this isnt a guy from CPUFX, its the guy that makes the gemini waterblocks that are sold here.

yes, it'ld be interesting to see the difference a 350 GPU pump would have on the low-flow and high-flow blocks (i can guess the outcome, but i want numbers), as well as fixittt's larger spir@l WB. and the redesigned CPUFX block as well, just for sh*ts n giggles lol

I said it before and I'll say it again, this is not appropriate for a public forum. If you want to refute something do it in a professional mannor. This is just from a member of this forum and a member of the watercooling/overclocking community.
