Default New radiator intake

Part One.
Since I received some (constructive) critic about the fact that my radiator was sucking warm air from the case, I came to this mod.

The new Radiator Intake Shroud, cut and filed.

Detail of the cuttings for the folding of the shroud.

Intake shroud, folded and glued.

Idem.

Idem.

Detail of the two accessholes for the lower two screws.

Rubber seal between radiator and shroud.

Part Two.

The shroud in place, awaiting for the glue to dry.

View from underneath.

Upper panel of the PC-70 with cutted hole for the 120mm grill.

Idem wit mounted 120mm grill.

Underside with seal between upper panel and shroud.

General view with mounted upper panel.

Part Three.

Underside with mounted upper panel.

Detail of the intake hole for the radiator.

Back view.
Remark the fact that I removed the "spoilers". Since the radiator is now sucking air from the outside, I inverted the two rear 80mm fans to output. All rear fans are now sucking air out of the case, so the spoilers are not needed anymore.

Yes it is 1.5mm thick anodized aluminium sheet. I know two stores here in Brussels that sell all kinds of aluminium sheets.

Thats it!
You keep popping up with these sweet pictures of your work...I'm getting sick of it!

How'd you cut the blowhole? Dremel? Cause my jigsaw likes to take long walks on the beach.

Sorry that I bothered you...
All cuttings were done with a fret-saw or jigsaw or whatever you call it (like on the pic).

sorry to revive a post that hasnt been touched since last year but....

im really interested in how you attached the shroud to the top of the case, it looks like some kind of foamy/rubbery seal but is it? and does the shroud just push into it if so?
i need something a bit like that for what im currently trying to watercool.

Turbokeu

Nice design and execution on this mod!

How many thousands of an inch thick is that aluminum material, oh you might be using metric, well whatever I can convert.

TIA
