Damn, approx 6C over water temp at 2500mhz! I need to build an Intel system! I have a hard time getting 6C over water temp at 1400mhz with a AMD XP1600+.

i like how you hooked the pump straight to the res, good idea, though i would be too worried it would leak

Nice dual system

One thing I saw was the smaller diameter tubing between the pump & the res connector. Not sure how much the restriction would affect flow... /shrug

I do like how the pumps are right under the reses like that, but I'd also be afraid of future leakage. I'd try to make some kind of support for them.

Either way, nice system. You're getting some pretty good numbers there

I'm also doing an Intel system. I'm gonna try for the 1.6A Northy as it's potential reminds me of my older dual 366 celerys.

The pumps are held in place with a water tight grommet. There is no tubing involved. The intake sucks the water directly into the pump.

The intake to the pump is a normal nozzle as used in an inline system. The "washer" part of the grommet acts like a clamp. Once on, I could not get them off. Then the bottom parts screws up tight. I do not think I will get any leaks!?! (I hope)

All the res joints are sealed with Plumbers goop. If you noticed that the bolts lift from the bottom of the res. This prevents any weight on the joints. All the weight, including the pumps, are thru the base plate and then thru the bolts.

The res was very difficult to make but worth it, I think

By the way, I am currently running at
2.6 gHz (CPU @ 130FSB mem @ 173 Mhz)
Room Temp @ 24.7
Water @ 27.9
MB @ 26
CPU (idle) @ 29

I am going to run it at this speed for a

Hm... thats pretty sexy.. I like your res I'm thinking about doing that with my 2-md-sc too, but I'm still a little concerned about the viberation from the pump motor skrewing up the T-joint on my airtrap overtime. However, I don't want to use flexi tubing since all I have is crappy HD tubing that kinds like mad. Maybe i'll go with 1/2" copper for the looks (the viberation still transfers i guess, but who cares)

Nice rig, it looks great! How did you connect the fans to the BIXs? Did you find sheet metal screws long enough? My local hardware store doesnt sell #6 or #8 sheet metal screws longer than 1".

Sanjuro

The pumps are susoended with rubber grommets therefore I have no vibration. Once I put in on the floor, it should be virtually silence

imatation

Actually I attached the fans directly to the BIX with 1/2 #8x32 machine screws. You have to drill out the hole (VERY CAREFULLY) to the proper size and screw on tight. I then used black tape to seal the edges. I used 3/4" 8x32 screw and nut to secure it to the front of the case.

Here is another pic of the front of the case

Look at the pic with the clear res. By all the wires in that pic I would say it is at the bottom of the case in that pic.

My best guess...
