Has Anyone ever modded a VIA AQUA 480 Pump?

Has anyone heard of anyone using a modded Via Aqua 480 pump (UPC #18752) to water cool their computer?

I just bought one on ebay for $23.10 (14.00+1.12+8.00 It's Non-Refundable) and just received It by UPS Today.

I know that I have to mod this pumps inlet to accept a 1/4" npt 3/8" Nylon hose barb (I have 4 extra laying around) with some clear 2 part epoxy from radio shack (I know I should use Silicon adhesive or caulk, But I don't think I really have any). Will this be water tight? I hope so.

At least the outlet has a choice of 3/8" or 1/2" parts included. I may use one of the extra 1/4" npt 3/8" Nylon hose barbs on the Outlet possibly.

The Inlets Outside Diameter is a little less than 3/4" or 18mm exactly. The Depth of the Outside of the Inlet is slightly more than 7/16" or 12mm exactly.

Not only is this pump Tiny (1 7/8"Wx3.0"Lx2 1/2"T), It's suction cup feet hold tight to My desk, Wow!

No, unfortunately, you're probably the only one.

Do you have any specs for it?

Well It's a tiny 200Gph pump that's about 3.0"L x 1.75"W x 2.5"H in size. It has a ceramic shaft (that's what Via's site mentioned) And with a 3/4" ID fitting and a bushing that will mate with both the fitting and a 1/4" npt thread from a Hose Barb, I should have the Inlet modded for Tubing. The Outlet comes with parts for Tubing (1/2" or 3/8"), But They are short. Yeah It took Me a bit to think this up and some silicon adhesive will be needed on the fittings.
