This is basically a White Water clone. But I added some turbulence to the overall design. And since I don’t feel like spending $25 per 1MM diameter end mills I opted for the slightly wider grooves. If I get some decent feedback I will then take the time to machine one of these out. So don’t be bashful let those tongues wag!!
Thanks don't mind the plumbing fittings, they were just some that I already had modeled up. I plan on using some from a couple of D-Tek blocks that I have.

In my opinion, with this design, drilling further into the WW block will not improve performance but will F- it up.
![]() The reason is that you're messing with the fin to channel ratio. By making the fins thinner you're increasing the thermal gradient A ~1/deltat But then again, you are increasing turbulance, reducing the boundary layer, increasing the heat transfered to the water. In the end the lost performance from this mod outweighs the gains. This is a similar design by a friend of mine: http://forums.procooling.com/vbb/sho...&threadid=6164

It does look pretty hard to do.
Still because of the turbulence should perform better? |

I ran that revision for about 3 months and I was getting excellent temps with it. But the lastest rev of the RBX does better.
