Actually I thinks its unpainted copper.

At least I hope so since copper is a better conducter then gold. :)

It's probably the new chromed version they have been talking about. There's been word of a chromed version and a version with 1/2" fittings, respectively these look like them. I doubt it's unpainted copper as there are no visible soldered joints. Copper by the way is just under golds conductivity of heat.

That's copperplated. Its a little reflective orange compared to gold.

My camera's just a litte confused with these things. :D
