My AMD Giveaway Experience.. or lack thereof

Well guys... this is going to come as a huge dissapointment to all, but even moreso to myself. The giveaway was Friday morning, about 10 miles away from UCSD. I had it all planned out. I even made my awesome double-sided poster that said all sorts of cool stuff (not to mention www.ProCooling.com). I had two cans of latex paint, one black, and one green. And a box of markers to write random stuff on my body. I even made sure to work out that night so I would look tighter than usual when I went shirtless. The plan was perfect, but...

I get a call from a fraternity active (i'm still just a pledge). He says, "Meet tonight at 10:20 on the cliffs. Bring a blindfold." Okay yadda yadda yadda so it turns out that Thursday night was big brother revealing. I got a big brother in the fraternity and became associated w/ a family within the fraternity. Our family drink is the long island iced tea and as initiation, i drank WAY too many long island ice teas thursday night. I didn't get back to my dorm until 3:30 AM. When I woke up at 11:35 in the morning, my alarm was still going off from the 5:25 alarm I had set (enough time for me to shower, paint myself, and drive). Shit when I woke up, I even had a note on my door from the girl upstairs who was going to paint my back: "Kevin, alarm is going off... waited for 10 minutes. Going back to dorm to sleep."

So that's the story, guys... I never made it to the giveaway. I have pics of my poster that I'll post when I get back to San Diego... well i'm pretty sad about it to say the least.

I tell ya man, Frats are not all what they are cracked up to be... and long island ice teas? WTF is it? a Panzy frat?! ehhehe I only see women drink those around here.

I guess next its a road drip to AMD- Austin outside of their fab with your paint and poster :)

I MAY hit up the L.A. one when they go there. If I do, i'm going in full costume

methinks he chickened out! i second the frats not all that they are supposed to be comment and give a rousing smack to you for not showing up, and not attempting to take advantage ofthe young college coed who came ostensibly to "paint you"....do you have any idea how many PORNOS start like that?? sheesh.

Ok if some half drunk white guy told me to meet him up on a cliff with a blindfold I would have told him where he could stick it and place a restraining order on him and carry an H&K USP .45 around for protection. But I guess that is just you Kevin. And I am with Joe, I am not a big drinker but I do know I have only seen my mother and a few other girls drink Long Islands. By the way? What went on up there? Or are you sworn to secrecy to prevent criminal charges?

These rich boys don't do things the same as you and me Phree. And I would carry my Mausberg 20 guage semi-auto I find it a nice self protection device.

its not to prevent criminal charges, its so that the Identity of the animals ( sheep, chickens, etc...) is kept secret. ;)

Yeah that's what I figure :). I'll just have to buy an XP333 and one of them damn Athlon XPs.
