Is there a difference?

Is there a difference between a submerged pump pumping 158 GPH and an inline pump pumping 317 gph ( ehiem 1250)...

All i m confused about what to do with the fittings...
I was lookin at the website where I am going to buy ... It says 5/8 intake .... thats like whoa... lol

Anything might help answering the question.... is great....

:D

Welcome to ProCooling!

You want more flow, but you also have to consider the max head of the pump.

The Eheim 1250 can be run in-line or submerged. Running a pump submerged will add a tiny bit of heat into the loop, but it keeps the pump cool.

I'll let you run a search through here, for your fitting question: we covered it recently.
