poogles_uk knows someone that worked for snapappliance, he maybe able to find out.

I've only used the orphan cmd on raid 1 configurations. Raid 5 structure is quite different.

I label and date all of my drives when I install them. At times I may have several of the same model and size setting on my desk. It's nice to know which ones are good, bad and used.
