Some units of the 2000 will not support hd >137gig.

As far as access you may need to reset the system back to factory settings. After it has been reset you will need a copy of Assist to do the initial setup.

Reset instruction are in the wiki section.

You may want to try resetting network only at first to see if it show up on your network. If you do not have the admin password you will need to reset all.
