Depending on the MB you have to make a mod/chance to the BIOS setting. Then replace the cables to the drives. There is only 1 version of MB that I think this works on. There is a company that bought old Snap Parts. They sell the one that can be used for both. Need to find which HW version it is.

Don't recomend in, unless you don't mind turning it in to a DOOR STOP if something goes wrong.

Many have tried to turn the 1X00 models in to 2000. I thing only one was successful.
