HD are not numbered that way, 10000, 10008, 10010, 10018.

DO NOT REMOVE ANY DRIVE UNLESS YOU KNOW WHICH ONE IT IS. Doing so may render the data set useless, and head you to the recovery man. Backup the data and if you can remove from service so you can work on it.

Smart data just gives you a early warning of drive failures. Once the drive fails completely a led on the ft panel will indicate which one.
