Can you copy a file from it. Copying files to it is a little different. The OS is spread across 4 drives (raid1), and most are read only.

Did you make yourself a "su -" ??

What I had to do was go through the /hd/vol_mnt* to find out what mnt point was for which shares. Then I coped the config files (*.conf) using "cp /etc/*.conf /hd/vol_mnt0/"

Putty is what worked here WinSCP3 failed for some reason.
