On bad sectors you have 2 options.

If your not going to use a recovery service (1) Give SpinRite (2) a try, it has workEd for some users.

DO NOT TRY TO MOUNT WITH ANY FILE SYSTEM (window or Linux). Unless you want to loose every thing. Spinrite works at the controller data and does not try to inturpit data, so it's save.
