Drive 4 is the problem child. Is the front panel reporting drive 4 failure? I would remove it then start the unit up.

The unit should run in degrade mode with just 3 drives. It should mount the array, if you did not damage them putting in another machine. Sometimes depending on usage it may take some time for it to mount, up to 30-45min. So if it's not going into panic give it time it should come online. If after an hour it does not mount try doing a reset to factory. You will need to have to use Assit to do the initial setup.

Have you read the notice on 4100's at the top of the threads? Need to know if your MB has been modified/repaired. You are setting on the 240gig units that have problems.
