Default Re: Snap 1100

I would not recommend trying to convert a 1100 to a 2200. Doing so will lock it in a state that took me over a year to correct. And I'm not giving the solution out.

The file you are tring to load is an updater file. You must already have v4 loaded to use it. V3.4.805 supports HD's > 137gig.

The 750gig will work with the snap OS. The weakest length is the power supply. So you do not want to turn it off once you get it up and running. I would also up the cooling capacity (fan) due to the larger heat load. Make sure you run with the case on, or it will not pull the air properly. For the initial formatting, I would have the case off and the opening at the back sealed off. This must be sealed off any time you have the case off, otherwise it will not pull air across the HD.

Read the FAQ's. Most of the common questions are there.
