You can not read a Snap OS drive in anything but another Snap. The file system is a highly modified XFS on BSD.

You can read a GuardianOS partition on a unix machine.

I have no experience with a 12000 unit. My guess would be to make sure all fans are working, so the unit is not over heating and locking up. If you have away to check the power supply do so.

On the smaller units you could reload the OS through Assit by putting the unit in flup mode, (5 led blink).

Will this unit boot with out any drives?
