If your lucky and contact Sales at Adaptec, and sweet talk them, other have gotten v4.0.860 it free. The kicker is that they want you to buy a service contract to a EOL product, so you get no support. So sale has been provide it to some users. If you contact tech support they have been giving out v3.4.807 which support large HD's, but does not give you AD Support.

It would be nice if they would just release it with out going through hoops. It would be a start to improving there image. They have had a bad reputation ever since they bought SnapAppliance.

But if you need Vista or OSX support you need to upgrade the the Guardian units.
