If it's clean you need to setup the drives (format), add a mounting point/share. Add users using the security Guide. Once this has been done you should beable to start moving files over to it. If you want to auto connect, you need to MAP a drive to the server.

You need to do some upgrade with the old unit. Contact Adaptec via email and request the v3.4.807 OS and Assist. It's free if you ask them nicely. They have not been releasing v4 with out $$$.

If your running Vista, The SnapOS is not compaitable with it. Read the FAQ's (link in my Signature).
