Does not do any good to copy the complete HD, since you have to reinit the drive erases every thing. None of the drive/sector are any good, since the drive have different parameters.

You may need to change the jumper sitting on the new HD (you did change them after the copy, right?). Some of the newer drives work best as CS. The older ones Master.

Did you use the Linux version of Digital Dolly or the Live CD version?
If it does not come up and the jumper change did not work, you need to re-copy the boot tracks again.

Solid Disk LED means it doing some drive work, maybe init the drive. Let it go, after 20 min see if you can connect and get to the drive utility.
