Try a different port and cable. Let it cool down over night, I had one that would work for 2 days the the nic would go MIA.

Sounds like you may have lost a nic port. If this is the case the data is still there, but you will need to transfer the HD to another 1X00. A 2X00 or even a 4000, 4100 can read the data but with those you will break the existing raids.
