The 2200 uses a Delta AFB0612LB which is a 11.5cfm 60mm fan. I recommend installing a higher CFM fan if you install 7200 rpm drives. If it's in a server room where it's cool the original speeds should be fine. If your not concern about noise install a high speed fan other wise use the medium speed is what I did.

FTP access will be faster due to less overhead. Writes are the slowest function.
