That indicates that your HD has failed, when you see the 1 -2 led pattern.

So you have several options to try. If the HD is spinning up and every things sounds right, NO Clicking. You may be able to salvage the HD using SpinRite. Warning DO NOT INSTALL IN A PC THAT RUNS WINDOWS. If windows try to mount or does any thing to the HD all is lost. Some times freezing a HD will make one work for a short time, if you try this you need to be setup with DD to recover the boot tracks before it dies completely.

If that does not work you need to get bin file to reload the OS on a new hd.
