Power down and move drive 2 to drive 1 position. Install your last new drive in drive 2. boot the machine. Once you see the 2nd drive activity around 5 min the OS is on the drive. Now you can configure the Array. If you hot booted the drives you will need to delete all arrays on the 4500, then build a new one.

Verify that you have larger capacity. If you hot swapped with the old drive you will not.

Cold boot will only copy the OS. Hot swap will init the array rebuild.
