Either the PS is bad, or a bad system board. I've seen the nic port drop off line after 2-3 days. The only way to get it back was to power off and let every thing cool for a day. I've also seen bad solder connections on the PS jack and the fuse loops. They do go bad, the 1100 has been around for over 10 yrs now so there starting to get tired and fail.
