Open it up, disconnect the HD and power the unit up. If you have access to the admin it's probably a 2000. If the case says meridian, on it it's probably a v1, Quantium v2. The v1 if I recall does not have fan on the cpu. These units are about 8" tall the HD sets vertical. If it's a black short squatty unit may be a 2200. Which these are pretty nice units, small and very quiet.

Speed of course are not very fast but are sufficient depending upon your usage.

If your running a a GigE the GOS units are a better fit since most all have the gige ports.
