Did you set permissions for users? It sound like the user grabbed all of the disk leave Zero space for others. I would use the guide and assign shares for each users then activate the max space a user can use. On the shared space you have to decide if you want every one to have full access. Normally assign one with full access and others with write, read, and only deletion for there files.

Setting up security takes some thought on how you will use the NAS. All it take is one to abuse things to mess it up for every one else. I NEVER grant any one access to ROOT, this is for admin's only. This way you limit them to what they can do.

Now since the 1100 will only transfer files at a rate of 4-6mbps it may take several days/weeks to compete the task of transferring all of the files.
