Default Re: Move hard drives from 2200 to 1000?

2200 has OS on the HD as well as the 1100's. If your going to do this you will break the RAID1 array, but don't do this in the 2200. You want to have a mirror (backup) incase something goes wrong. What Phoenix said is true. A late model 1000v2 could read the 2200 w/o any issues. Except with the raid 1 issue, you may need to do a debug cmd to force it back to JOBD after it comes up. You will need to make sure the 1000 has the same OS version as your 2200, too. If not it may not be able to see your data. The 1000's have a slower processor than the 2200's.

Once up I would reinstall the OS to make sure all the pointers have been corrected for a different paltformbye.
