That is some
SERIOUS suction there. I can handle squeeze that stuff half closed with my hand.
My only idea would be to get an adapter to bump the hose size up one size, then get a brass ring about 4" long and place it inside the tubing. That will provide about 5/8" ID and will definitely not collapse.
And if it does collapse, I will bow down to your almighty pump.
