omg i think i will just use my cpu to test stuff. reading through those articles(i read like 4), not only do i have a headache...i feel that i have opened a bigass can of worms. the time it would take to tune and calibrate, and the money that would be spent just to simulate it would exceed what my teacher wants. i think that if i just want to watch temps, a cpu will do.
