digitalpirate i see what you mean about projectors.
i am currently working for a national pc service team and had a customer that was big on home cinema. he had a panasonic projector and was happy to give me a demo and i was very impressed.
What projector whould you recomend in the £1000-£2000 range.
i have upgraded my ti4200 to a fx5900 lx from winfast.
i was looking at 9600 pro's until i cam across a winfast a350tdh lx model for £180 which was only £30 more than a 9600pro and £50 less than a 9800 so i thought this was a good price for power balance. Plus the winfast comes with a heatsink that covers the whole card so i should be able to overclock it upto the full speed of a fx5900.
looking at the card i thought it would catch a cap close to the apg but i just fits.
my motherboard is a asus p4pe and so it only has agpx4 so i am not getting the most out of the card but my testing has given me some good results.
at stock settings the a350 lx version runns at 400/700 but i have it at 430/800 with no problems.not sure how far i can push it but will make sure this is stable and go higher.
anyway here are my results.
nothing much in 3dmark2001 and unreal but the dx9 tests shows a big improvement.
