Dear All,
As from my last encounter with a guardian it seem like we can copy all the config and also the cgi or web file to be use in new hardware. As I'm just wondering if anyone out there has ever tried to modified the configuration of the existing config to suite to the new hardware and also the new OS? As for the OS it's Linux version 2.4.18-snap.clipper (root@BuildSys) (gcc version egcs-2.91.66 19990314/Linux (egcs-1.1.2 release)) Hope to hear if anyone has tried this before. Thanks Pang |

The END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT (EULA) states you can not do this without Adaptec's written consent. The software looks to make sure it is on Snap hardware before it will run. So Please do not discuss this topic on the Forum.
There are several open NAS software (FreeNAS for one, or MS Server) that are design to run on any hardware you like even a snap. David Moderator
