I am building a new watercooled system and I am adding some CompuNurse for temp monitoring in the res, GPU and CPU.
On a P4, where would I put the sensor? On AMD I would put it touching the core. Same for P4? Should I even bother since it is not a critical as with AMD? On an GF4 Ti4600, is mounting on the back OK? If not, next to the core also? What kind of tape should I use to attach the sensors (I have already used up the ones that came with the CompuNurses)? Thanks |

P4's have on die thermal diodes that report in MBM. You would stick it nearest the core for an external reading.
