Default Fittings for Danner Mag

If I am going to run a Danner Mag submerged, does anyone know about how far the fittings extend out from the exit of the pump? I am just trying to see if it will fit in my res! Thanks!

If it is submerged, you should only need a fitting on the exit side. This is the top hole on the impeller housing. For mine, the fitting extends about 1 3/4" up since I could not thread it on all the way.

As for fitting in your resivoir, wouldn't you want the exit fitting accessible on the outside to connect a hose to it?

the only res it will fit in is a 6X6X4 res

tried it and it barely fits....

you have to mount it sideways in there w/ a 90 degree plumbing fitting.

it is very tight and will add heat to the system.

that is y i decided not to go ahead w/ it.
