Aloah Ladies and Gentlemen
Ok after searching the forum for a bit about this it seems that many people have played around with the Java Option of the Servers, but i am unable to find a comprehensive list of their results. Has anyone been able to write some java apps for the units they are still using, if so, wich ones ? Especially would be cool to have a java tool that constantly dispalys drive temperature in the GUI and lets you set a value at wich you get notified via mail. Regards to all Klaus |

First if your snap does not have 128+meg of ram, disable the snap extension. I has been documented that it will cause problems when moving files, even though Snap say it will work on any unit with 64meg or greater. Once the JVM is active it gives you the option for a Secure Login, for the security minded. If you are doing web pages the JVM gives you more tools for the foo foo stuff.
The only regular who has used it is Sam. He's been a little quiet lately after rolling his moms car, totaling it. Lucily no one was hurt.

The 2200 only has 64meg of ram.
If it is loaded it will show up as SnapExtension on the Admin page (main). You can select the link there and disable it. The JVM is a seperate install, most do not install it.
