I am new here .......
Can anyone help to provide a steps by steps procedure to upgrade HD fs Snap server 110. Old HD failed need to replace with a bigger capacity. HELP....... P/S : Overland Support ask to get a new Unit ....... They must be NUTS |

The GOS units are a little more difficult to upgrade with the OS located on the HD. Single HD units being the most difficult. So if the Old HD does not boot the unit you will need to find a working unit. If working use a ghost utility and image the HD.

I have a working with me but I try to ghost it using Norton ghost but fail ...... any other ghost program to recommend?
Since it is running on Guardian OS , any possibility to install the Guardian OS to the new hard drive ? I manage to download the guardian OS from the net but the problem is how to install it to the new hard drive .... The file extension for the Guardian OS is GSU. HELP |

Use Digital Dolly, once done I think you will need to do MBR? repair.
I think some user on the forum added the second HD to the 110 to do the upgrade then switched back to one HD. There may be a jumper or something that needed to change. Will have to search for it. There should not be vary main threads on the 110's.

Hello,
i`ve got the same problem, I wan`t to replace my 160GB Harddisk. Is her anyone who can give me/us a step by step instructon to change the Harddisk on a Snap Server 110 ? I hope anyone can help me. Thanks |
