I want to build an all 1/2 in system. I was planning to use an Eheim 1048 or 1250 pump. You probably heard me say this in another thread.

I own an eheim 1048, it has 1/2" barbs, I purchased it from dangerden. I am using it with my 3/8" rubber hose on the barb tho(eek!!) it works either way but the barbs are 1/2"

BTW, you have one of those jagged edge blocks with the 1048, right? IIRC, those seem to hurt flow roughly the same as the Maze2, so maybe you could tell me how the 1048 worked in your setup? I'm kinda torn bewteen the 1048 and 1250 for a low noise overclock. |

the 1048 is working great with a jaggededge block! it has plenty of power for it. It's most deffinitely much better than the rio180!!
