I have just made a res out of a thick walled bottle. Having drilled the holes and put in connector I am now wondering if they are big enough. I want to get a mase 3 and was wondering of anyone has a mase 2 about with 1/2" connectors and could measure the internal diameter for me. Ta.

Thanks, the ID of my connectors is 9.5mm which is as good as the same as 3/8". It was shuch a pain drilling a 12mm hole in a thick walled bottle, I'd hate to do it again.

just finding a 12mm drill bit (or anything above 10mm) is often just as hard as the actual drilling itself. I normally grab a 2mm bit first, then go up slowly

I did not have access to any diamond drill so I used a diamond boarer that dentists use for grinding out roots. Put it in my piller drill and it was great. Just takes a bit of time to grind the glass away.
