Overland has released the SnapOS, there is no BIOS updates. It built in to the OS.
If you search this sight you will find the link for the SnapOS v4.0.860

My mistake....
This is actually a Snap 1000 - I think. (I inherited this device from someone else at work and was told it was an 1100, but..) © 2002 Quantum Corporation All rights reserved. Quantum Corporation 2001 Logic Drive San Jose, CA 95124 (888) 343-SNAP http://www.snapserver.com Model Software Hardware Server # BIOS 1000 series 3.4.790 (US) 2.0.2 173568 3.4.758 Framework VM 1.2 14.3 So it looks like this upgrade would be of some use. thanks Last edited by Dwains; 12-04-2009 at 12:01 PM. |

The info off of the OS Icon will report as 1000 whether or not it's a 1000 or 1100. If it's has 64meg of ram it can handle the newer v4 OS.
