anyone have a problem with the DD5 resetting when you turn on your computer? mine will reset about 30% of the time i turn my computer on.... it seems like there is a quick power dip which is basically powering on, off, then on again my DD5
anyway to prevent this? or do i have a ghetto psu? (i think its like a deer or something equal.. but i wanna know if others are having the problem) i was thinkin of using a Cap and a diode but the DD5 would suck out all the power when i power my box off. therefore, having nothing left when i power on help me out |

does it actually lose all your data, or does it just turn off?
I'd say the only way to fix this would be a new psu

Hi Digi,
I'm using DD5s in my systems as well and I never had such issues with them... I think it's power supply realted, too... BTW how many fans do you have on DD5's headers? Bruce |

I honestly don't know what may cause the reset issue, other than PSU... Did you try a different PS? Bruce |

hell yeah, if the pcp&c doesn't fix it, I'd try to get another dd5 from whoever you bought it from
