The website is in norwegian, but you can take a look at all the cool pictures of my rig anyway. use the link "fotogalleri" to view only pictures. I submitted a picture here so u can preview my homemade waterblock. Maybe i'll write it in english later (if i'm able to....) HAHAHA Anyway, write a comment in my guestbook ("gjestebok") if u want to. My CPU-temp is ca 35 degrees C. AMD athlon 1400@1600 Zultan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That heater core looks like the one I bought. Common core #2-199, GDI part #39-8219, paid 15.99 at O'Reillys. Listed as 9 1/2" X 6 1/8"

The heatercore is from an opel rekord 79-model. The intake/outlet was not like your drawing, but came out on the side of it, so i hade to cut off , make new holes, and solder in the front.
I paid about 15 bucks for it from a scrapyard.(and Norway is an expensive country, i'll promise u!! ![]() The mounting for the waterblock is made of plexi. It's mounted in the 4 holes in the motherboard, and with a screw in the center of the plexiboard to add pressure to the waterblock. The waterblock is homemade. I used drill to make one BIG cave in the copperblock..hehe.. no spiral inside. just one big hole ![]() |
