Hmm, another WW clone... But with tiny barbs.
I am building a WW clone for a friend of mine out of a 1U skivved copper heatsink and some leftover UHMW polyproplyene. Should look pretty pimp.

Yep, Swedish might be a bit tricky unless it´s Your native tounge.
Is it just me being suspicious or does the Antarctica look like a WhiteWater ripoff? Its good performance just proves Cathars skill in wb design once more. regards Mikael S.

I recall a proliferation of Maze/spiral blocks a couple of years ago. No patents mean that a good idea spreads rapidly to all.
I wish more people would "clone" morphling's method of merging the 2 outlet design back to one though; not a huge fan of the 3 barb designs. I guess silverprop did take that design advance into consideration though in their WWesque block...

On that design, you could remove one of the barbs on the block because there is a deep channel on each side of the fins. Water would simply wheel around and go to the sides of the fins and into the exit barb. I think it looks nice, but small barbs = small flow =
![]() Oh well.

I think the barb looks cool. low profile as hell.

![]() ![]() I'm the first guilty one for the hole spacings on a universal block. ![]() It's mine and now They stole it.... Damn that feels good...... ![]()

Your universal mounting is much better #rotor. What are you supposed to do with the Asetek blocks if the P4 and Operton mount points take up more room than you have around your Socket-A?

#Rotor,
forgive me sir... but i find myself guilty of copying your design... both pin-fin blocks and Universal mounting... however, i did add a little twist ![]() here's our own version: ![]() ![]() (a friend did it with a pair of hand and a dremel) more here: http://www.pbase.com/fyrebredkix/waterblocks hope you dont mind ![]() Last edited by BaThMaN; 02-27-2004 at 06:56 PM. |
