Default Tygon + Usplastics = ownage...

First, let me say I ordered my tubing on the 11th, in the evening, and I ordered 2 day shipping. It arrived this morning, the 13th.

Not only that, but 2nd day UPS shipping from USplastics is the same price as DangerDen's 3day UPS select (which isn't gaurenteed to get there in 3 days....)

But I replaced my shitty Vinyl tubing with R-3603 1/8" wall tubing. It's awsome. Completly worth the money I spent for it. My Vinyl tubing was leaking with hose clamps, and this Tygon didn't leak a drop, even before I put the clamps on. Not only that, but the bend radius is awsome.

Definatly, if you wanna do watercooling, go with Tygon, I didn't really think tubing was that big of a deal, but it's a BIG improvement in my system.

Oh, btw... anyone else notice the warning in the package that said:

Quote:
This product contains DEHP, a chemical listed by the State of California, Environmental Protection Agency. It is known to cause cancer or reproductive toxcity (Proposition 65)
I found that quite interesting....

Clear Tubing For Chemcials 1/2" I.D. 3/4" O.D. and 1/8" wall
Formulation R-3603. Standard length is 50 ft. Sold in 10 ft. intervals only.

That is what I got.

The tubing is on this page. Get the 1/8" wall, which is the thickest

Unless you're using tygon as a straw, snack, or rubbing it all over yourself. Don't sweat the cancer warning.

I hope you understand that if you put quantity "1" in there you will get ONE foot of tubing. I just called them to verify because it seemed why too cheap.

DDen sells the 3603 1/2" ID 3/4" OD tygon tubing for 2.90 / foot (1 cent less than USplastic). also, it seems USplastic charges like $10 or something to ship it....
and McMaster charges even more per foot.....

No... It was cheaper for ME to get 2 day shipping from USplastics than it was for me to get 3 day shipping from DDen.

USplastics assures that the product will be shipped SAME DAY if orders are processed before 5:00pm EST

DDen says "Allow 3-5 Days for processing". Which duh, they run a small outfit. To me, it made more sence to save on shipping charges, and get it to me alot faster.

I just ordered me up the 10' minimum from USPlastics. When I first started to post on these forums it was about tygon and how it said urathane on the tubing but I think I was ripped off by the company I bought it from because it's not tygon. I've seen the real tygon since then and I can say it's some of the softest most flexable tubing a person can use. I can't wait to get mine
