Hey Joe dont feel bad about the mess, if I had a digital cam I would show you a pic of my room that I am moding my rig in.... there are all sorts of PSUs cables, tools, cases, monitors, car parts, radiators, aluminium bits, books....

Anyway I am REALLY looking forward to the article. I dont care how long it is... it could be 30 pages and I still would not care!

Make it long and have TONs of pics!

an update:

the write up is around 1/3 to 1/2 done. I will not be working on it tonight as I have to study for the last MCSE test I am take'n tomarrow morning at 9:00am. But I will have it up and posted by Friday night as I said. ( I was planning for thrusday night but I needed to get this test out of the way first. )

I had a very bad case of writers block for the last 2 days, but last night I finnaly got the article to flow like I wanted. ( since this si a big departure from the writing method and style that I have used before it threw me for a loop and frustrated me for a couple days as I tried to focus. But I am well under way. Basicly the cooling system, and the intro is done. I have 2 more parts to do, the Electrical/Temp and Case Mod'n.

If you want pictures... you got em.. I feel sorry for modem users hehehe I am averaging 10 - 20 pictures on a page hehehehe

Hey Joe!

I have a 56k dialup (though it only runs at 33.6 due to house wiring) and I don't mind. Give me 30+ images per page! hehe

How many pages do you have so far? How many for each section?

I am a bit of an English person, how did you have to change your writing style?

Anyway good luck with the exam, I will be doing the same one around this time next year.

Bye!

Pages? I dunno quite a few though

Changes in my writing style is more about the flow then anything. I am used to writing articles that flow in one cotinuous thought and progression from start to finish. but this one I have had to break it up into multiple segments and I had alot of trouble starting it. But its all good now.

You know something... I am becoming DAMN sick of DH3

I need a couple extra arms to type and such. The parts I have done as of last night are the Intro, 90% of the cooling system, and 99% of the electrical. all thats left is the Case Modding, and the conclusion.

Even when I get the writing done I still need to work out how I am going to link them all. I am working on some index ideas, vs a straight one way link.

At a possible 20+ pages when its done I will need to provide some link action thats better then just a one way link to the next page.

Consider DH3 my Xmas Present to you guys! Definitely something you and surf around and read while your family is over for the holidays

Actually, I did the same thing when I wrote up Project Little Stealth, I charted it out on paper, divided it into 5 groups of things I had done, and then under those 5 I put the highlights and the points I wanted to cover. Worked out rather well. I really wish I had paid more attention in school tho.

So now that the DH3 has been up and running
for almost half a year do you have any
comments or observations? I enjoyed reading
your contruction details and was also
curious how you are using it ie) applications, etc.

hahaaha

Nope its never been run with a computer in it yet.. I am still waiting for my Dual Tbird boards to start coming out.

Its actually in the process of being taken apart to be re-done.. I am improving the cooling system in a few ways. Should be done in a month or so.
