Default attaching barb

i just got an impala 77 hc. i finished cutting the hc's barb off. i don't have a solder and don't have the money to buy it. how would i attach my nylon barb to the hc without soldering/torching?

use JB Weld. thats what i did and it works, no leaks, and easy to use. only costs like five bucks at home depot.

well i painted mine black, so i got the cheapest black paint i could find. was like 99cents for spray can. had some existing clear coat. it looks nice tho. if ur using any other color then black then you may want to get higher quality spray paints. just use a clear coat with them and it'll look great.

so if i wanted to paint it blue, i would need to first apply a clear coat spray paint and a blue spray? sorry if my wording is wrong. does it needs to be "metal spray paint"?

You wouldn't be able to solder a nylon barb anyway.

well, just to point out the obvious, I hope you're only planning on painting the sides and not the fins themselves. You'll take a performance hit on the radiator doing that. How much, i'm not sure, but why do that to your system?

JB Weld may be cheap in the US, in the Netherlands (Europe) it's about 20 euro's!

I normally use 2 components metal glue. About 7 euro's and enough to glue all you want.
(and you can use it to gue nylon)

Any good 2-part epoxy will do, you don't have to buy JBWeld by name.
