I'm currently working on a uberwatercooling rig but i'm having difficulties in locating the perfect pump. I have located a Resun MD-40 pump, which is a 100% clone of an Iwaki MD40 pump according to the retailer (costing 110 euro). Does anybody have any experiences with this pump (or it bigger brother the MD-55)?

I only have experiences with a md-15 and a md-20 pump, thse pumps are great!silent, top build quality, very, very powerfull. But Md-40 is to much for a wc-setup, it will bust you heatercore, i think.

If it is indeed an exact clone of an Iwaki MD40, no need to worry about your core bursting. I start getting nervious about that at >30psi, outside the capabilities of the MD40 (9.25psi max).

Just get an Eheim 1250... Cheap enough in Europe, plus it works superb! Just tested mine on my custom resovoir.
