Like all things the simple replacement of my dieing Johnson pump has snowballed into a complete upgrade to my cooling system. I've decided to go dual rad, and get another heatercore. My question(s) are regarding there setup. First is it better to have them mounted in parallel or series, secondly should they be ran in the loop in parallel or series.
My current plan is to mount them in parallel. My reasoning is that in series one would receive the air heated by the first one. In parallel each would receive the ambient air. The downside is each one would recieve half the air. I'd also run them parallel in the loop. With less flow through each rad the water would have more time to cool off. Secondly the decreased resistance would would result in increased flow to the entire system. Is my plan acceptable? or have I grossly error somewhere?
