Oh man. I am really desiring to go back to a dually setup, but a few things stop me. One, I obviously lose performance: I can set the multi high as can be, but the FSB is lowered, and that sucks. Second, I lose the best audio Ive ever heard, the Soundstorm on my board. I love it, beats the crap out of an Audigy. Finally, I have watercooling. I am NEVER going to not have watercooling again. Two processors means two blocks, means heat, means I dont know what to do.
So my questions are these:
1) can you convince me to go back to dual? When I had dual 2400+'s I loved every second of it. I went to the A7N8X with a bigger processor mostly because I also got more RAM and a great air heatsink out of it. I'd only run this with 1 processor until I got the cooling worked out.
2) dont need to get into much detail, but whats the best way to w/c duals? obviously the very best is independent loops, but I cant do that. I'm working on a bonneville dual heatercore (barbs are a pain), I already have one spri@l i'm in the process of lapping + internally modifying. Another one is only $25. I have two evercool fans that will work perfectly with the heatercore, but will it be enough? is it best to go pump (which I will also upgrade to a mag3) ->rad->main processor->second processor->pump (reses are for losers

), or is there some other alternative better setup that will improve my cooling?
all help is appreciated. also if anyone is looking to get rid of a gigabyte 7DPXDW-P and is looking for an Asus A7N8X Deluxe and maybe some cash, let me know...you may be in luck.
