The links above are companies that make coolers for companies like Swiftech. Look at the first one linked. http://szrh.en.alibaba.com/ Look through their products and you will see that other HS companies are using those very sinks re-marked for their own product. Swiftech dosn't have the tools to make the MCP6000. If Dell was to get into it they would skip Swiftech and go right to the "real" manufacturer. Skip the middle man and make more profit. They would also re-lable the product as their own. "The Dell Water Cooling Solution" or whatever.

Large OEM orders? No, small OEM orders. Large OEM orders are 100,000's at a time not dozens. If Swiftech did large orders they would be making the MCP6000 and a few of their other products themselfs. I don't belive Swiftech has the capacity to do large orders (as in man power mainly). Could be wrong though.

Also look through those products in that link and you will see the OEM "Intel" coolers there and some interesting looking other things. http://szrh.en.alibaba.com/product/5...k/showimg.html

Will be interesting to see whappens though. If Swiftech was able to get in on mainstream water cooling then good for them. I bet they have plans already to do such a thing.

If they were wanting to use the exact design for it, they couldn't, as swiftech obviously has rights to it. However, Its true that they would just go straight to the manufacturer and get something 'similar' made up cheaply - they only need 'good' temperatures, they obviously wont care about that last C/W.

Jaydee is right, margins are margins, and companies like dell will step over a company like swiftech in a second, if it will save them money.
