Case for LAN box what should I get? - Page 2

heh i have had a cool little lan case kicking around for a while now. no aluminum or flash, but immune to even the worst baggage handlers and most horrifying car rides

old pics, i have cleaned it up a bit inside since then. works great tho. i really htink that these uber expensive mini boxen are really just silly. i mean they look nice but the price is just way off-base. why exactly is an aluminum case that is 1/4 the size of a normal case cost as much or more than the larger one?? silly.

This has turned into more of a PC for my sister then a lan box for me thing now though

The issue with the shuttle (4 me at least) is NO AGP
any desent graphics card is AGP, can u even get a newer GeForce on PCI?
Lan=Gamer=Gr8 Graphics needed.

Oh well.

No but a Radeon w/TV out PCI is only 69$, if the funky Savage dont fill your boots...

pretty sure you can get a GF2MX in PCI. That would be enough juice for a Lan box.

And yes, I know it sucks.
